Mike Hanley just came up from the show floor fresh from Porsche’s kickoff press conference with real news. Actual prices and an on-sale date for the 2008 Porsche Cayenne family of SUVs are now in hand.
Prices start at $43,400 for the base Cayenne, $57,900 for the Cayenne S and $93,700 for the now 500 hp Cayenne Turbo. The Turbo can do zero to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The trio hits Porsche dealers on March 3 with a revised front and rear design, but the interior has barely been altered — just improved stitching on the seats. We’re serious.
