2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe to Debut in Super Bowl XLIII Ads

Hyundai has announced that it is going to debut its the 2010 Genesis Coupe in two Super Bowl ads during the Super Bowl on February 1, 2009.

Both commercials share a common theme, "The Epic Lap." The first commercial will feature the Genesis Coupe being driven by Rhys Millen with background music provided by cellist Yo-Yo Ma. The second commercial will feature different driving footage and music.

The 2010 Genesis Coupe is powered by either a 210 horsepower turbocharged 2.0L engine or a 306 horsepower 3.8L V6. Both engines put the power to the ground via the rear wheels.

Hyundai's 2009 Genesis Sedan Will Not be Going to Europe

Hyundai took the wraps off of its Genesis luxury sedan this January at the Detroit Auto Show, but now Hyundai execs are stating that Europe will not get the new sedan.

2011 Hyundai Tucson: Tested On The Road

Here are some new shots of the 2011 Hyundai Tucson spotted during a test drive recently. The car is expected to start selling in the states in mid 2010, and is expected to get 30 miles to the gallon on the highway and 20 in the city. What do you guys think of this new crossover from Hyundai?

2006 L.A. Auto Show: Hyundai Hellion Concept

It has a tough name and aggressive lines, but this three-door concept is yet another flight of fancy. In fact, we can’t remember a Hyundai concept that came to life as a real production car. The most interesting thing about the Hellion is that its architecture was inspired by those hard-shell backpacks that make pedestrians look like human-turtle hybrids. No, we don’t get it either, but supposedly it makes the Hellion look more organic. And yes, we’re getting tired of the PR speak ourselves. Now on to the photos…

Hyundai i90

The Hyundai i90 test mule in camouflage was caught on road testing.

The Hyundai is ready to take on Germany’s premium brands. It will be crammed with the kind of technology usually reserved for premium brands like Audi, Mercedes and BMW.

This includes an iDrive-style cabin control interface, as well as a collision mitigation brake system (CMS), which detects an imminent accident and warns the driver to take preventative action. Plus cabin space to match the likes of BMW’s 7-Series, the i90 will carry a similar price to a Ford Mondeo. It will reach the dealerships in 2009, powered by a petrol V8 with around 350bhp.
